Rourkela Gymkhana beat Mukteswar Cricket Club (Bhubaneswar) in the final by five wickets to win the 6th Jyoti Ranjan Parida Memorial Invitation Cricket Tournament at Rourkela today. Anshuman Gope was the star performer in the title triumph, hitting a 77-ball 82. He was adjudged the man of the match. Natraj Behera won two prizes as man of the tournament and best batsman.
Orissa Cricket Association president Ranjib Biswal gave away the trophy and prizes at the closing function. The champion side took home the top prize of Rs 21,000, while the runners-up received Rs 15,000. Altogether 13 teams participated in the tournament.
